ERECTION OF NEW WORKSHOPS AND OFFICE BUILDINGS FOR
CERBYDAU MASNACHOL CIBYN CYF.
Russell-Hughes Cyf. has been instructed by Cerbydau Masnachol Cibyn Cyf. to carry out a Pre-Application Consultation for the proposed development above.
Notice is given that Cerbydau Masnachol Cibyn Cyf. is intending to apply for full planning permission for the erection of a new workshop/office building, a workshop/welding building and a vehicle wash unit together with other ancillary spaces.
As the proposed development is defined as a major development a Pre-Application Consultation is required as outlined in Part 1A of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure)(Wales)(Amendment) Order 2016 before a full planning application can be submitted for the proposal.
PROPOSED SCHEME DESCRIPTION
The planning application is for the erection of new workshop/welding building and workshop/office buildings together with a vehicle wash unit and other ancillary spaces on land within the Cibyn Industrial Estate. The site is located within the development boundary of Caernarfon and is also a designated Safeguarded Employment Site.
The proposed scheme consists of the following buildings and ancillary spaces:
- New Office & Workshop Building – Building Footprint 1680m2
- Workshop & Welding Unit - Building Footprint 363m2
- Vehicle Wash Unit - Building Footprint 160m2
- External Storage Area – 500m2
- 15 No. HGV Parking Bays
- 40 No. parking spaces including 3 No. disabled parking bays and 8 No. EV charging bays
The buildings are located within the boundaries of the former abattoir site on Cibyn Industrial Estate.
